CHANGE IS GOOD.....IT'S EASY

IT'S EASY TO BECOME RICH,FAMOUS AND HAPPY....Lesson ONE

BY BARRY SARNER

Ok, so I got your attention....."Listen" carefully and change your life.

I truly mean it when I say it's easy.

FIRST LESSON

I like to compare the process of working towards getting Rich, Famous and Happy to going to the gym to work out and exercise. Exercise for me is painful and hard. It is not crippling but the process is uncomfortable and it's so mentally difficult for me to wrap my mind around it. I throw myself and drive myself crazy up until I get started. On the other hand... I know I want to do it and I feel great after I do it because I want to look and feel good. It's the best feeling in the world when I get through it. I now changed my thinking. I like it, not love it yet, because I focus more on the end result and this helps me "like" and enjoy the process that much better. How bad do you want it? That's the question.

Get it? It's easy but not easy. It is what it is!!! But it's worth it.

So what makes it so difficult to achieve these three wonderful goals? Remember I say "difficult but not impossible." What is it?

CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE

Change is coming and it will be joyful or it will be painful or it will be both. Fight it and make yourself crazy or embrace it and become Rich, Famous, and Happy. Do it Easy or Do it Hard. Your choice...

Are you ready to join me on my "Magical Mystery Tour" of how to embrace change and then go on to become Rich, Famous and Happy? If not, stop now and go to the gym. Everybody else follow me...

All the positive thinking books and the esteemed geniuses who write them never ever discuss the strongest and the most important step to getting through Change and moving on to get what you want in life. Every morning you wake up to a brand new day. Every minute of your day things are moving and changing. Nothing is static. You must be aware of everything going on around you and next to you. You must be aware of the subtle as well as the obvious changes that are flowing constantly.

You must be aware of your REALITY. I repeat, Your Reality.

The first step is "Accepting Reality". Your Reality. Your world. What are your facts and what are your truths? What's real and what's ego, fantasy or misinformation.

A friend of mine was recently stopped as he exited a major supermarket. He was detained (and let go) for taking and eating loose candy from the bins where you buy candy by the pound. His reality was he didn't do anything wrong because "he only had a few." The security guard's reality was that "he's a thief." The store's reality was that they never detained or prosecuted anyone ever for this. They actually apologized to him.

Reality is different for everyone and then, there is the Real Reality. You have to get yours very clear and under control. You must take control of what's real for you. To do that you must shake up your thoughts and your beliefs. Question everything and write down your answers.

Can I achieve my dream? What do I need to achieve my dreams? What personal qualities do I need to be successful? What are my strengths and weaknesses? Who, what, where, why, when and how over and over again.

These and many, many more questions will set you on the right road to success. The important thing is to ask the questions. Make them personal. Dig deep. Accumulate all the information on YOURSELF that you possibly can. Don't even think about your next move until you could really look your total reality in the "eye." If you get frustrated, pissed off and tears sneak out from time to time that's your signal that you're doing it right.

Enlist the help of supportive friends that you trust. Scour and search the internet for information on the road you want to travel and what you would need to do it. Questions will set you free. The answers are for you. You never have to share the answers with anyone.

You can't spend too much time on your reality search.

When you could say things like "I am good at this and not good at that." "I need more of this and less of that" and "I need more help there and I could use less here" then you're on your way to making your dreams come true.

Be hard on yourself and then give yourself a big hug and a round of applause for being brave and taking the most important step on your journey to becoming Rich, Famous and Happy.

"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.

CHANGE IS GOOD.....GO HUG YOURSELF

What is Self-Love? It's You Being Compassionate to You

By Annette Colby

Annette ColbyLevel: PlatinumAnnette Colby, Ph.D. R.D., is… an enthusiastic lover of this extraordinary adventure of life (including all the bumps, bruises, detours, and unexpected discoveries), married to ... ...

If someone were to ask me, "What is self-love?" I would reply, "A growing ability to be true and compassionate to yourself. For it is only when you are filled with the love of who you are that you can share this gift with the world."

To be true to ourselves is a lifetime journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance. It is building on our unique gifts and interests, while accepting without shame our weaker aspects.

When two people enter into marriage, they often share the familiar vow, "I take you to be my wife/husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, to live and cherish: from this day forward." This vow takes into account that life is... well, life. It is a journey of varied experience. Self-love is the ability to provide this same promise to not abandon ourselves when times are difficult.

Self-love involves a daily cultivation of a truly satisfying, fulfilling, and rewarding relationship with yourself. The result of self-love is not a perfect life, unending happiness, or the creation of the perfect human persona that everyone accepts, admires, and validates. Instead, self-love is the ability to summon a compassionate feeling into yourself no matter what you experience in life.

Connection with Self How do we do tap into inner compassion and love during those times that are worse, poorer, and sicker? In part, loving yourself includes tending to fundamental needs such as physical movement, eating, sleep, and self-care. It is self-loving to get a massage, light some candles, or take a bubble bath. However, self-love is something much grander.

When our actions are motivated by fear, by what we "should" be doing, or our intent is to control, our wounded self is in charge. This type of behavior is not so much self-love as it is survival. Self-love is the ability to stop, take a deep conscious breath, and move beyond a habitual reaction. Breathing brings us back into center where we can connect with who we are beyond our wounds and automatic responses.

Self-love is the ability to pay attention to intuition, follow the voice of our heart, and honestly give expression to our true feelings. Self-love is a minute-by-minute awareness of our inner wisdom combined with self-permission to respond accordingly. It is about saying "no" to those actions, behaviors, and routines that feel unsatisfying on the inside, and saying "yes" to what is gratifying and fulfilling.

In essence, self-love includes intentionally focusing energy on actions and behaviors that warm the heart, please the senses, and allow life to flow through your physical self. Self-love brings you back into your body, and back into feeling and breathing and sensing. It is offering yourself compassion for the experience you are having while also being aware of the actions that would best offer nurture and support your mind, body, emotions, and spirit.

What is the Most Self-Loving Action in this Moment? Self-love increases when we stop, take a moment to consciously breathe, and feel our way through these questions:

Am I treating myself fairly?
Am I treating myself with respect?
Am I treating myself with kindness?
Am I paying attention to what I need and want?
What are my needs during this situation or circumstance?
Can I allow myself to feel into a positive outcome to this experience?
Do I speak to myself with compassion?

The journey of self-love is ever unfolding and ever expanding. As you listen to your spirit, also known as your heart, intuition, knowingness, true feelings, or gut sense, you offer yourself respect. As you take action to express your inner self... that's self-love in motion. And further down the road, as you evolve into the person that does not need to be understood by everyone...that is the embodiment of self-love.

You do not need to go through life exhausted, depressed, stressed, or overweight! Imagine waking up each morning with joy and positive energy that lasts throughout the day! Subscribe to our wonderful free weekly Loving Miracles newsletter at http://www.AnnetteColby.com

CHANGE IS GOOD.....WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES

Work Like Thomas Edison and Become Famous by Morning

By Mark A. Lewis

Thomas Edison was an American inventor and businessman who developed many devices that greatly influenced life around the world.

He had strong values and opinions and was often quoted for such. These quotes contain pearls of his wisdom that can inspire and guide us in pursuit of our goals.

Let's take a look at how the philosophy of Thomas Edison might apply for us today.
Edison set up an industrial research lab and drove his staff to produce results. He had a specific purpose of producing constant technological innovation and improvement.

He would have no time for 'pretenders' as the following suggests:
"Being busy does not always mean real work... Seeming to do is not doing."

He was also known to have said that genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. Many, many people can have great ideas, but the successful ones are those that strive to have them fulfilled.

You can dream it and perceive it, but unless you strive to fulfill it, what have you achieved? It's unavoidable but, there is some effort and work required.

And for those who fear or avoid having to work for a successful outcome Edison has been known to say that the reason a lot of people do not recognize opportunity is because it usually goes around wearing overalls looking like hard work.

And how did Thomas Edison stick to this work ethic? To him it was fun, his greatest pleasure, and so his reward was often found in the work that precedes what the world calls success.

Imagine never doing a day's work if to you it is all fun.

An interesting side to Edison was his understanding of the cosmic forces affecting all of us. Truly creative and successful people know that there are universal laws in place to govern and guide our paths.

Edison knew that this world is ruled by infinite intelligence. Everything that surrounds us- everything that exists - proves that there are infinite laws behind it.

I also suspect that Thomas Edison used meditative practices as his best thinking has said to be done in solitude.

Whether being a time of meditation or visualization, taking time out to return your mind and body to a state of calmness and inner peace will give you answers that you seek.

Persistence:
So when do you know enough is enough?

You really don't, but as Thomas Edison will tell you, keep forging ahead. He knew that many of life's failures came from people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

The easiest thing to do is to get discouraged when things look impossible. Thomas Edison knew that's not the place to become discouraged.

Putting his total efforts into the right perspective, Edison said probably his most famous words:
"I have not failed. I've just found 1,000 ways that won't work."

Thomas Edison worked knowing that above all, what you do and achieve should be a positive reflection of your inner goodness. Or in other words, you reap what you sow because "The value of an idea lies in the using of it... What you are will show in what you do."

And to sum it all up, in working on instinct and your gut feeling you can always go with:
"Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something."

So with the inspiration of Thomas Edison behind you say "to hell with the rules" as you strive to be Famous By Morning!

CHANGE IS GOOD......GO BE A FOOL,FOOL !!!!!

In Celebration of Foolishness - Every Hero Begins As Fool

By Tama J. Kieves

In celebration of April Fool's Day and of all Spring's new beginnings, I wanted to encourage you to be a little bit more "foolish" in your life. There is power in daring to be different.

Great advances have never come from the conventionally minded among us. It's always comes from us idiots who believe in love and freedom and goodness and peace. The fools of today are the visionaries of tomorrow. Those crazy fools of the past gave us electricity, medicine, automobiles, a few trips to the moon and back, not to mention hair dye and microwave dinners. God bless them all. Can you imagine the Wright brothers thinking they could snub the laws of gravity and fly? Think about it. Many of us cower and shrink thinking we're idiots for believing we can write a screenplay that sells.

Fools dare to be alive, even on a Monday. Fools dare to take off their shoes, turn off the computer and walk outside into the sun. They know the power, healing, and strength of having fun. Fools dare to take off their thinking cap and try on their feelings fedora.

Fools dare to try new things and do them badly. Fools dare to rest when they are tired. Fools dare to sing off key and they dare to sing on key in a voice that melts all separation. Fools dare to wander down interesting paths in their lives, take scenic routes and detours and stuff their bursting satchels with jewels. Fools dare to step into the river beyond the concrete structures of "how it's always been done," and allow themselves to be carried onto new and holy ground.

Prudence and conservatism have not advanced our culture. It took the voices on the outskirts to make a noise that changed the world. It's taken a handful of rabble rousers to vote for women's rights, freedom from slavery, and to oppose war, hunger, and hatred. It takes fools to raise awareness and fools to raise the bar. It takes fools to stir the hearts of mankind into becoming the great lovers and leaders we are meant to be. Every time we watch the Academy Awards or the Olympics, I think of all the "foolish dreamers" involved who believed they had something in them that deserved commitment, development, and a jostling chance. Every hero begins as fool.

So dare the ridicule of the narrow-minded and dim-sighted. Dare to still believe. Dare to feel. Dare to trust your guiding light. Dare to ignore gravity and take flight. Dare to be a hero. Dare to be a fool.

CHANGE IS GOOD.....LIFE IS TOUGH BUT SO WHAT!!!

Overcoming Adversity - How to Thrive in Any Difficult Situation

By Miki Strong

So, you've been thinking your life is a mess! It's not. It certainly feels like it is, but it's really just in a state of restructure and re-adjustment. You're feeling like everything is falling apart because that's the feedback you're getting from the actions you've taken in your life...to this point. Simply put, you're being told you're on the wrong path.

Here's the thing....what you've been doing, isn't working.

What's Really Going On?

Understanding what adversity means actually helps you deal with it better. Have you ever heard people say, "If I just knew what was going to happen (keeping your job vs being let go), I could deal with it much better." You may not know the outcome of a situation, and not knowing is certainly the cause of much unnecessary stress, but understanding the reason or cause of a situation WILL open the door to your answers.

Adversity comes into our lives as feedback that you're on the wrong path - your decisions, your choices, your actions, your behaviors.

How Can I Use This Knowledge to My Advantage?

The most common type of adversity, is the one you experience when you're on the wrong path. This happens when your choices, your actions and your behaviors are different from what would better serve you to get what you want.

Brian had made it a habit to put away 10% of his income away until he had a nest egg equal to 6 months living expenses. This is a sound principle his father had taught him. However, when a great deal came up on a boat he wanted to buy, he dipped into his reserve fund and purchased it. Him and his wife had great jobs and life was good. He told himself he could build up the fund at a later time. As time went on, the cost to run and maintain the boat became greater and greater and he started charging on his credit cards. Then he lost his job when his company downsized. This was his first message to make changes. As his stress grew, he charged even more on his credit cards. Eventually, his debt was unmanageable, their savings were gone, and his relationship with his wife was suffering. He wasn't paying attention to the feedback in his life.

Brian woke up to the message that his choices, actions and behaviors were not getting him closer to the financial independence and stability he wanted. He made some changes and started paying attention to his feedback. Now he has a new job - better pay, better work, better hours. He managed to keep his home and improve his relationship with his wife. Brian attributes this turn around in his life to becoming aware of the messages he receives - the feedback - and taking right action for different results. The boat? Well, he sold that, put the proceeds in his reserve account, and set a goal to buy a sail boat in the next 10 years - one that both he and his wife will enjoy and fits in his financial plan.

How Do I Overcome the Adversity in My Life?

Understand that adversity will always be a part of your life. You can choose to allow it to help you learn and grow, or let it stop you from living the life that you want. It takes courage and the belief that anything placed in your path can be overcome. You can! You just need to believe it.

Here are some steps to take when you find yourself confronting adversity.

Acknowledge the adversity. Sweeping adversity of any kind under the carpet just means you'll be dealing with a bigger mess in the future. Acknowledge it's something you have to deal with now. - Take responsibility. This one change in mindset will naturally put your subconscious mind into solution mode. If you're open to solutions, you're not brooding about the problem. - Brainstorm. Make a list of everything you can think of that you can do to overcome the adversity. Write down anything that comes to mind, however silly it may seem. By taking a solution approach, you're telling your subconscious mind that you are open to possibilities that you haven't considered. Please note - this exercise isn't meant for you to come up with the definitive solution. It's an exercise in mindset shifting. - Take Action. Take any one item from your list and act on it now. If that means making a phone call for more information, do it. It may also mean asking someone else for help. Whatever it is, taking action sends a message to your subconscious mind that says you're in solution mode and ready to overcome this adversity. - Listen to your intuition. Your subconscious mind knows you're serious about finding a solution that moves you past this adversity. It will go to work on possibilities that you may not have readily thought of.

Be open to your intuitive nudges - that unscheduled stop on the way home from work, that phone call to an associate you haven't talked to in some time, buying that new book a friend just told you about. These are messages pointing you in the right direction. - Trust and believe. This is the hardest part for many people. You would think it's coded in our DNA to worry over things and create stress in our lives. We know it to be a learned behavior - this means it can be unlearned, or rather swapped with trust and belief. Trust that your answers will come and be open to receiving them. Believe that all that is happening in your life, good and not so good, is there to serve you. That means that all is well, all is as it should be. - Give thanks. When times are particularly rough for us, it's hardest to express gratitude for the blessings in our lives. Often, it's because we're focusing on all the negative things. Turn your focus to what you genuinely feel grateful for - your family, a warm house, food on the table, your friends, your pets - you get the picture. Gratitude is a powerful force that when practiced daily, from the heart, has the power to bring miracles into your life.

All the adversity we experience is here to help us learn and grow, and most importantly, to become the person who we want to be, doing the things we love to do, having the things and experiences as a result of who we've become. This is the path in life for every one of us. Awareness of the meaning of adversity opens up the tool box of solutions to overcome them. You're humbled when you break through the barrier of adversity because you see the simplicity of the lesson learned and what a gift it has been to have experienced it.

CHANGE IS GOOD......WHAT YOU NEED TODAY AND ALL THE TIME

What Does it Take to Succeed Today?

By Steven Conn

Things aren't much different today than in the past when it comes to success.

First off, you need a dream, something beyond your normal everyday desires, something that feels out of reach, but still within reach if you put forth the effort.
People today don't dream as much as in the past. We are so used to getting everything we want and many feel entitled to the same things that those who worked hard for have. Without dreams, there is just hopelessness, a feeling that we are just trying to get through the day without having to work to hard or have anyone depend on us for anything. That is not a life.

Second, we need to understand that if we don't change what we are doing, we can't expect to see a difference. The definition of insanity: "doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results". How often do you hear people say, I've tried making changes but it's too hard to stick to it. Of course it is. Ask anyone that's ever tried to lose weight. Andy Stanley once talked about change and said "Change is hard, it's supposed to be". Where did we ever get the idea that to improve ourselves or our lifestyle, wasn't going to require effort and a lot of it. It requires daily self-talk and accountability to others that care about you, to help you along. Look at addicts, they need a support group and daily reminders of why they are making the change. Pictures of loved ones that have been hurt are a reminder of why they need to stop living the way they have.

We need to have pictures to remind us of what we are shooting for and who is going to benefit by this dream of ours. I'll tell you a secret, if you are the only benefactor, find a new dream. Life isn't about you all by yourself. Paint others in your dreams and they will come about quicker than if you are just dreaming of the next THING you can buy for yourself. Nothing is wrong with nice stuff, but if that's all you can think of, you need to broaden your mind.

Third, once you have your dream and know what you need to do, you need to do it. A little effort consistently is better then a lot of effort in chunks. Do something everyday.

Fourth, find someone that has accomplished what you desire and find out what they did to get there and follow the leader. Someone, somewhere has done something similar to what you are hoping to do. Find out as much as you can and duplicate their pattern for success. No says it's all up to you, learn from others that have failed and persevered.

Fifth, everyday read from a good book, listen to a positive audio CD, or better yet hang out with positive successful people. Nothing beats a personal mentor that you can work with to share your dreams and come up with a game plan and hold yourself accountable to.

I'm a 44 year old Christian man, married for 23 years to the most beautiful, God honoring women I know. We have been blessed with a 17 year old daughter who is my influence to be great. I believe that if you truly want to walk on water, you have to get out of the boat.

CHANGE IS GOOD.....KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

The Leadership Knowledge You Will Need to Succeed in the Years Ahead.............

By Leonard Buchholz

On the cusp of a new presidency it's wise to recognize that Leadership is a privilege earned and one that any Leader must seek for themselves. And in order to be a Leader, one must have knowledge.

Abe Lincoln wrote "There is but one wealth, one security on this earth and that is found in the ability of a person to perform a task well. And first and foremost this ability must start with knowledge."

These words ring true even today, over a 100 years later.

So, what knowledge will be important to today's Leaders tomorrow? And the next year?
The knowledge to communicate and communicate assertively. This knowledge is not dependent on a persons desire to subjugate others, rather it is based on the desire to get things done in an orderly and efficient manner. When we communicate effectively it breeds confidence in the Leader and in the team. Without it, teams function poorly, if at all.

The knowledge of self discipline. This knowledge is one persons individual recognition that in order to get where they want to go they might have to give up immediate pleasure and pride in order to realize substantial professional and personal gains. And, they give up this immediacy willingly.

The knowledge of emotional behaviors. Humans are emotional and this emotion drives nearly every behavior. Leaders who are not studying these natural forces of man are missing the area of greatest influence they have over man and woman alike. The man or woman who recognizes the power of emotional behaviors and makes it a cornerstone of their Leadership will by far be the strongest Leader in any organization.

The knowledge of Management. Just like the words "Leader" and "Manager" are different, so too is the skill set for each. The best description is one attributed to both Peter Drucker and Warren Bennis. "Management is doing things right; Leadership is doing the right things." Not having knowledge of how Management works is just plain dangerous to your career and others.
The knowledge of strategic planning. The ability to plan is highly prized. It is a mixture of information gathering, reasoning and forecasting. It is factually based. It is not "fortune telling" although every great Leader has had some ability in this area. Strategic planning is making sure the future happens.

The knowledge of organization. Leaders and Managers are constantly organizing people, products, resources, budgets, facilities and support. The Leader who masters this organization process will consistently outperform other Leaders because he or she will have anything they need in order to Lead at their fingertips.

The knowledge of self education. Although not a real skill set, Leaders who are not practicing self education will soon find themselves behind, outpaced and eventually replaced. The Leader who is continually upgrading themselves is the Leader in front. This one area is often one neglected. The biggest reason...time.

Let me ask you a qualifying question. Are you working with Windows 95 on your computer? Of course not, so why would it be ok to be a Leader without upgrading your knowledge?
Be like Abe Lincoln and get the knowledge you need.

CHANGE IS GOOD...IT'S TIME TO MOVE FORWARD

Make It Your Destiny to Accomplish Great Things in Your Life

By Hani Al-qasem

From this moment on, choose not to let your past dictate your future. What is gone is gone - forever. Now is the time to move on, to do and become what you want: to be the best in any area that you choose, so you may design your own destiny.

Here are a few helpful suggestions that you may take on board, and below you will find a couple of simple tips that can quickly move you in the direction of manifesting your destiny to accomplish many great things in your life.

To join ranks with the most successful people in the field of your choice, or merely to achieve your dreams quietly, for yourself, you will need to take the journey toward a better more enlightened future; toward a more empowered and motivated you, toward a life that you will design and achieve. You will live your life as you want it. And you will become that person you have been dreaming of becoming.

Invest in life - in your life. No more wavering dreams, staring out the window and wishing and hoping. No more sleepless nights worrying about your future as you only see where you are now.

This time it is for real. What you are dreaming of will happen, and in abundance. From today, you will move forward in your life in a dramatic way. You will do what is required of you to accomplish your daily goals, big and small, and you will always expect to succeed at everything you do.

Embrace your unlimited power and build a life of excellence. Success is your one and only option. Fill all of your days with accomplishments, no matter how small you may think they are. It is important, at this point, to realise that most successes stem from your ability to feel certain that you can set out to achieve what it is that you desire - to accomplish great things in your life. And for you to feel certain, you need to become confident.

One of the principle prerequisites to achieving almost anything in life is confidence. Confidence is an indispensable requirement to your success and further development or betterment, be it for your personal or professional needs. Confidence is the doorway to success and fulfillment. With confidence you will have the courage, strength and motivation to tackle and overcome all life's setbacks and challenges.

The great news is that confidence is a learned skill, and anyone can learn the skills to having awesome and unstoppable confidence.
As promised, here are just a couple of confidence tips that I believe are easy to do and are extremely effective. By repeating the simple tips daily, they will retrain your thinking and become an automatic part of your new successful and confident habit. They will become your new way of life.

Challenge your thoughts that have been holding you back and stretch your mind to raise your limits to unlimited heights.

• At the end of each day, put yourself into a confident and resourceful state of mind by jotting down in your diary or daily journal, all of the day's achievements, no matter how small.
Benefit: The mere act of writing them down reinforces the idea of success and confidence. It is extremely beneficial and motivating for you to feel the successes from deep within so your mind acknowledges them as confident achievements.

• Just before going to bed, conceive and initiate your ideal day. Once you have gone through your diary and planned your next day, sit back and take a few minutes to imagine and visualise the entire day, from beginning to end. See it unfolding exactly how you would want it to be, in every situation. Feel the confident emotions that come from success, with the feeling that you have accomplished all that you wanted.

Benefit: When you go to sleep, your unconscious mind will work all night on ways to bring about that which you have just visualised.

Truly make it your destiny to accomplish many great things in your lifetime by adopting a vital ingredient to success, and that is confidence. With confidence you discard worry, hesitation and fear. Stuck in a Rut? Nine Simple Ways to End Boredom and Feel Reenergized
By Dr. Annette Colby, RD

Ever feel stuck in a rut and not sure about how to get out? If so, you’re not alone. It’s easy to get bored in the comfort of doing the same things in the same way at the same time. Here are nine simple and practical ideas to get out of a boring routine, and back into the enjoyment of life.

1. Conscious BreathIt all starts with breath! Conscious breath. Taking a conscious breath relaxes and energizes. Breath after breath, real life comes forth again. It brings you back into into the present moment, out from the past, and out from the future. In the here and now, breath brings energy, relaxation, and clarity. Breath in deeply, slowly, and consciously, and exhale. Do it again! Feel the difference?

2. Do Something You Aren’t Doing NowIt’s easy to get into a rut with the same uninspiring routine every day. You get up out of the same side of the bed, shower and wash your body parts in the same order, drive to work on the same route, then come home to watch television on the same spot on the sofa every There is an easy way out. Do something you aren’t doing now. Do something different! Something big, something small, something silly, something out of the ordinary. Wear one black sock and one red sock. Wash your feet before you wash your hair. Hold your tongue instead of bickering with your spouse. Take a walk to the neighborhood grocery store instead of driving. Do one thing different and make a positive difference in your life today life.

3. Talk to Yourself LovinglySelf-talk tends to gravitate toward the negative. This self-critical self-talk rut can rob you of your enthusiasm for your dreams and leave you feeling less confident. It’s not necessary to control your negative thoughts or to only think positive ones. Instead, look into the mirror regularly, focus on what you’re doing right, and speak constructively to yourself. Realistic constructive self-talk can reduce stress, leave you feeling more capable, and help you put more enjoyment into your life.

4. Love Your BodyIt’s easy to fall into a routine of neglecting, mistreating, or even hating your body. No matter what your weight or health, do something radically different today. Walk on over to the nearest mirror and have a real conversation with your body. Tell it what a great job it’s been doing of helping you go through the experience of life. And no matter how much abuse or neglect you’ve put it through, it’s still done its best to give you a home to live in.

5. Stop ComplainingComplaining about how things are is an easy habit to fall into. But complaining doesn’t resolve a situation. And deep down it doesn’t provide much satisfaction. Next time you find yourself complaining, take a breath and switch your focus to something that is going right or well in your world. What you give your attention and focus to will grow.

6. Get OutsideHave you been hibernating indoors? Too many hours sitting behind your computer or in front of the television? The average person spends about 90% of their times indoors. Staying indoors for too long can leave you bored, not to mention unhealthy. Fresh air, sunshine, and natural scenery provide peace, relaxation, greater psychological resilience, and stimulation of all your senses. No matter what the weather is, get geared up and head outside into nature. Sharpened senses, psychological health, and greater connection to your spirit will all get you out of the rut.

7. Clean the ClutterGet your energy moving by taking a good look at your environment. Clutter drains your energy and can leave you feeling uninspired. Are your closets stuffed with too many clothes and shoes? Are your kitchen pantry, shelves, and drawers filled with old boxes of food, stacks of unorganized Tupperware, and trashy catchall drawers? Is your office overflowing with piles of magazines, stacks of paper, and unfiled receipts? It’s never easy to start cleaning your clutter. To avoid overwhelm, take fifteen minutes every day to tackle one area. When the time is up, just leave it until the next day. You’ll feel successful and your clutter will be gone in no time at all. Think of all the energy you’ll free up to enjoy life!

8. RedecorateGive your life a much needed lift by redecorating your living or working space. How about painting the walls a new color? Vibrant colors can leave you feeling invigorated and enthusiastic. Don’t feel like painting? Rearrange the furniture and rotate the pictures on the walls. Rearranging furniture is one of the easiest ways to feel refreshed. Rearranging brings variety, clears energy, and helps you sort things out in your head.

9. Define Fun It’s a big world out there and there’s so many ways to have fun. And so many definitions of fun. Where do you find fun? Is it being creative, being alone, being in good company, enjoying the fresh air, laughing, going on an adventure, or perhaps trying something new? Write down your list of ideas, activities, and actions that bring the fun back into your life. Then go out and have some fun!

CHANGE IS GOOD.....BUT IT'S NOT ALWAYS EASY

You Must Deal With Negative Emotions to Have the Most Success

By Sean R Mize
Many people are unable to or do not want to recognize their negative emotions. Perhaps they have never learnt of positive ways in which they can manage them. As a result, they cope with these feelings in different ways. Some just try to deny them or shut them down completely by using cigarettes or alcohol or through eating, even not eating. Some act on their emotions almost spontaneously, saying or doing things that they come to regret later. None of these reactions ever leads to positive outcomes.

The first thing you have to realize is that while you cannot always control what happens to you, you can certainly control your response to the situation. You can learn to stay calm and manage your feelings. Many a times, your response is based on your interpretation of an event and this can be very different in a time when you are feeling self-confident and good about yourself while it will be very different in a time when you are feeling very low. As a result, you have to control the thoughts that any event will trigger and the kind of conclusions that you may draw about the event, especially if it is related to your sense of self-worth. One should always remember that our emotions also help us to deal with different situations. When you experience any kind of emotional response, you need to be able to respond to it positively. The only way you can do that is if you know what situation triggers what kind of emotional response in you and to what degree; and how you would like to be prepared to handle them.

The four core emotions that everyone is affected by are anger, sadness, fear and joy. If you understand what your reactions are and work on moderating them as well as managing them, you will feel more in control of yourself and more confident of handling various situations. Let us understand what each one of these emotions is, how each one of these emotions helps us and where they may tend to harm us.
